Project Appleseed

A consideration for folks north of 6' is the height of the canopy, Costco has another model from CORE that is 13' x 13'.  I purchased it on a season end sale from them two years ago, and confirm that it's tall enough for me to walk under without smacking into.

We did our part with the shooting.  I stayed at a friend's house this weekend and you couldn't clearly see a car parked next door through all the smoke of the fireworks.  It was awesome!

I was at a shoot this weekend and a couple of shooters brought a really well put together Crown Shades brand canopy they bought from Costco.  It seems stronger and thicker than any I've bought before. They are straight legged 10 x 10 - although there's also 13 x 13.  They have wheels too.

Also, our savior for the weekend, Tennessee Beast, brought fans.  One of them was a misting fan.  I see some cordless ones for well under $100 pretty much anywhere.  I don't have a link, but I want to put the idea out there as much as possible as we get into summer.  We earned our Caliente patches with a heat index averaging 110°.  TN Beast is my new hero.

Sorry to be that guy, BUT...

This Course of Fire is not the standard Pistolseed COF and you have not been cleared to teach Pistolseed until you graduate from one of the Pistolseed Re-bluing IBCs. Until you go through the Re-bluing process though, you need to teach Appleseed Pistol Clinic from version 6.0 of the manual.  AFTER attending a Pistolseed IBC and passing the Instructor Evaluation Form to Graduate, you will be cleared to teach Pistolseed, which needs to be from the published standard COF.

Again, though, teach from 6.0 until Re-blued. It looks like your state has an IBC in August with BrotherPilot. If you haven't signed up, I highly suggest it. Jay will take good care of you.
