"The Godfather" of Appleseed strikes again! It really sounds like you all had a terrific event down at the Whittington Center - one of the most beautiful shooting mecca's on the planet. I really wish I could have been there to experience the event in person!

Great TEAM of instructors that assisted new & seasoned shooters.
Wolf Creek is excited to have more and especially the youth shooters.
I see more events in future.
The base families may have to give way to more local's that are so interested.
There is always room for marksmanship and heritage at Wolf Creek.

After Action Reports / Lebanon CT, July 25, 2020 @ Bozrah Rod and Gun club
« Last post by TOMINCT on July 28, 2020, 09:51:10 PM »
Appleseed returned to Bozrah R&G for a one day shoot this past Saturday. All the pre registered shooters made it along with 2 walkons.

The range was ready for us and the shooters took to the instruction very well. First break at lunch for the 1st strike and a few shorter ones throughout the day with the 2nd and 3rd strike and to get into the shade. We have been encountering warmer and far more humid weather than usual and the short breaks helped a lot.

After the completion of instruction we hit the AQT grind. When the dust settled we had 5 Rifleman total, 2 new and 3 re qualify.

The first new RM is Sebastian, with solid 216 score. He had attended numerous events in the past and it all finally came together for him this weekend. The second new RM is Kaz, with a 212 score. He started with a 22 but went to a centerfire and hammered out his score that way.

Our re qualifying shooters were Pat with a 210 and a nice dousing of cool spring water. Next came Matt with a 225, this after some time away from the range. Glenn hung tough with a 216 score to finish the day up.

All of the attendees were great to work with, even with the heat and humidity. A few had to cool down a couple times but most hung in until the end. Kudos to all of you.

The club did a stand up job with having the range and facility ready. The club provides a nice breakfast and lunch and no one went away hungry. Thanks to Bob and Ted for their efforts. We look forward to events there in the future.

The IT crew of scout74, CAANY, Perserverance and Parallax made the whole effort run well. Their past experiences helped several shooters over the line and helped all immensely. Thank you gentlemen.

 A Rifleman persists.

How did y'all get your pictures so big on the forum here? Mine come out tiny.

Maybe check the settings on your phone? Mine usually come out huge but I then edit then using something similar to photoshop (GIMP) to make them smaller to save space.

Small is fine.

Georgia (Roswell) / Possible IBC in Savannah in the fall

I'm investigating the possibility of having an IBC in the Savannah area sometime this fall. Keep an eye on the calendar if your skills need sharpening.
