BADLANDS SHOOTING EVENTS

Okay it less than a week away and I look forward to meeting all of you..I have posted on many site around the state so if the info's not there its on here..

Call me anytime as a few of you have done so far...580-278-6098 I will be on site friday night .The weather should be great to shoot in .This will be the first event here in the state and we will have a few more aswell .I have sallisaw coming soon to so if thats closer keep me in mind ...I will be in the okc area in two weeks a few of you have asked me to come back to H&H to shoot a few so if anyone wants to join in feel free...Till then could I ask a few of you to print off some flyers in the OKC area or other areas the more that know about us the better the fun will be...In Tulsa on april 4 5 the big time gun show will be there If you see a big guy walking around humping a custom ak come up and say hi I might have a few flyers and stuff to give away..

Well thats it you got less than 5 days till the lead flys and the stories get told come on out and enjoy the fellowship of riflemen .......

I am working on shoots for South Texas.  If you keep up your pace I just have to work harder.  Maybe other folks will follow suit and we can reach our Million Rifleman nation goal in 2010!

It's better late than never, congrats on your Rifleman and Orange Hat.

Sallisaw is May 2-3 and Sept 26-27 is being added at this time, just remembered got to update Nickle.

I'm going to try and make the May Sallisaw shoot, It'll be a few weeks before I'll know for sure.

However if I do make it.

Thanks for the up date on the dates ...I have been at the shooting school in Tulsa all this week and my phone keeps ringing ......Thanks to who ever hit the fort sill guys with flyer seems they are going to be at the April dates for sure they are in the feild right now so March was out for them ...But guys keep calling me I can get what ever info you need for the shoots ...

One last thing if anyone has a handle on backers and range stuff let DAD or myself know fast we dont know if the gears on site in grandfeild???And yes I have asked the range gods from texas for any and all help on supplies..Well time to get going again keep up the phone calls Iam here to help...

dont forget the radio show tonight I will be in the chat box asking for more help of course..lol

We are only a few weeks away from the April date we've all been waiting for ....And this is a fine time to say that We Will get 3 more dates here in Oklahoma!!!!Yes Sallisaw has given us the range once more .It will have the Chase for the AQT I myself need to shoot a few ..So figure on May Sept and One more before deer season for sure..

Back to Badlands The camping is great but if your not into the dirt and stuff well many places right down the road to sleep ...If there are any IIT that need PC's done I ask you to contact the shoot boss and let him know so your paperworks on hand....Other than that we have over 30 ready to go with surely more walk on's possilbe ..The website has plenty of links to get you to the shoot Pre reg list.. I suggest you get it done soon till then contact me or smiley dan for anything PC related That means IIT's step up and pick your task ..lol

Look for updates as they come in on future dates here in Oklahoma ...

Okat other than that the tulsa area is hosting a  large gun show and its going to be 10 to 15 acres of guns and such ..I will be there with my 3 man teams talking Appleseed so if you see a orange hat or a red one with the RWVA logo come say hi .....I will be looking for ya ...

Ive only been into this one year and I myself seen the growth just in my state ..Fred you might have to bump that 2016 date back if this keeps up ..lol  sure glad I got on early no tell what this is gong to look like if a few years lol ...

Update as of today ...The event is soldout and thats a good thing..I have had a few calls about switching dates to the Sallisaw event and thats fine just make sure to contact Riflewoman and nickle to make sure they get the paperwork done ....There is no problem with switching dates as long as we have the info ....

Other than that I will be on site the morning of the 17 to get my spot near the pond setup...I might even try to play with the fish aswell .This is a very nice place to camp just remeber to not start open fires the landowner said no open flames .I myself will have a propane stove so keep that in mind...40 Plus shooters!!!! sounds like a fun time .Seea soon .If anyone needs anything before thursday let me know.....

 Badlands has once again invited the appleseed back to his nice place..So here you have it the most want event in the state....April 19th event will have close to 50 slots so don't wait till the last minute..The paperwork has been sent up ..Both the camping site and the bunk house is open for shooters to use..All this  and just 10 bucks is all it cost..I will be watching this thread if anyone has a question or problem .We had a great time  last year I look for more fun on sunday so bring centerfire rifles ..1000 yard plus if you never seen a rifle slap a steel target come on out and watch..You just might be the one that did it ..lol ...

Ok seems its getting time to start asking for the Instructors in this state to log in to the Instructors boards and get ur names on the list....Dont worry I wont ask you to do anything I wouldn't do myself...I need all the help I can get.If we have enough I hope to have one Instructor to every 3 or so shooters..I have alot of slots still open for the shoots in Oklahoma so don't miss out on a cool chance to earn a red hat.. I'm all signed up and good to go.  Looks like Matt and Chris, the Stillwater IITs, are planning on coming too.  Man I love Badlands.  I'm planning on staying in the bunk house.  Good times are always had in that place!  

I can hear it now:  "BOOM... DING!!!"  Hot lead hitting steel silhouettes, baby.  Nothing else like it.  April is too far away!

p.s., those pictures in this thread from last year are a hoot!  It seems like a long time ago that I first earned my Rifleman's patch and took the orange hat, but it was actually less than a year ago.

I cant thank The school for letting us use this Outstanding sniper course..Yes the owner is a SNIPER INSTRUCTOR that holds training many times a year.. So if your looking to learn long rangeshooting that taught in the armed forces then Mr. Bobby whittington is your man..Did I say he was the head sheriff? Well he is lol and a great guy too..

Oh one last thing I will be at the OKC gun show this weekend ..Maybe a few of you can  print some flyers and help me post them all over on cars bathroom walls on the wheelchairs hmmm just post them every where.....We will be in Tulsa at the big show on April 11 weekend this is the best show in the south two days of 10 plus acres of toys and ammo.. AS of today the pre-reg numbers have made it passed 25..Hmmm just weeks away dont miss out on a great time.I'll be in Tulsa april 11th weekend for the biggest gunshow in the area ..If you need help getting rifle gear one of the States many Instructors will be around..Try to make sure you have everything to enjoy the weekend..Hope to see a few of you comeout the weather will be great..  As for the Instructors start thinking what you would like to helpout with??I ve been told the shoot box might have some neat stuff....seeya soon

 Okay as of today theres nothing.....Nothing hanging it up we are full tilt boogie from here on out....I will be on site by Friday..DAY on Not night..


  One thing that needs to be very clear is the range fee's .Its 10.00 a day so 20 for the weekend Per Person as Per the landowner.....As for the bunk house its the same 10 a night..So plz have that on hand at sign in !!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant think of anything else but to pray for some rain....Yes rain If we get just a little more down there our camp fires can burn..LOL we been on a burn ban down there for the past few shoots..Rain all it wants till Thursday then no more till sunday night...

Boy did we get alot of stuff done lastnight..The radio show seen lots of folks on line..

In the nut shell all is well and it going to be fun.For those that are following the trail we need to have a list of things to do..Yes that means PC's Each of you know your strong spots in Instructing so pick out something and be ready to say I'll do that..

I want to see all Instructors at the range  on Saturday by 7am we need to go over a few things...And for the ones that make it there Friday we will cover some highlights on KD ranges and whats is our goal for it...

I need to have paperwork on PC's I might have a few to hand out but not many..I need at least 2 of you to test out on redhat??Seems we need to get a few of you up and running so the ones that are headed toward master and Senior can move on to the next level in Appleseed..We need at least 2 Masters for the state so we can run bootcamps for the tri state area...



As for the Shooters coming to this event If you see something you like ..Let us know  and If you want to join us in Instructing just say so we'll get you started too..
