So many redcoats
Stand in the way of freedom
Aim center of mass

The Menace,

once again, by your leave, I submit a new haiku and a revised one from another thread. Hey, you’ve put a great task before me. And there’s how many days until Patriots’ Day?

Our Patriots’ Day shoot
Though disrupted this one year
Still dwells in our hearts

On April nineteen
From many town squares and farms
Our freedom was born

Two more haikus...

This Patriots’ Day
The memorial volley
Is dry fire at home

Still, do not despair
Join fellow patriots
With a common mind

Let's turn our focus to Valley Forge, 1777.

Joked with my fellow compadres at my last event that I'd be ready to teach IMC (for promo to iit3) when I understood it well enough to write an haiku about it. Still working on it, but have my first line written. :)

Quite an entertaining and intriguing thread, inspiring me to participate despite not having written a haiku since the first term of Ronald Reagan. No guts, no glory...

One I am surprised we have not heard from any nervous admins:

Icebergs dead ahead :sos:
Remember; stay on mission please. O0
Save a country, yes? :F

Disclaimer: mine is purely comical in nature — I have not witnessed anyone violating Appleseed rules.
