Good day all!

We are confirmed to help out the USSA in their program with Cabelas on 3 May.  Link to last year's event:  http://www.ammoland.com/2013/05/cabelas-to-host-trailblazer-adventure-program-nationwide/#axzz2wRSYqTKg

WHY:  To move the message of Appleseed Forward!!!
WHAT:  Great Promotion Opportunity!
WHERE:  Cabelas - Owatonna and Rogers
WHEN:  3 May from 9:30-2:00PM

We have a great opportunity to get connected with USSA who runs youth shoots all across the country (and is already asking us to help at another one)!   This is a great cross promotions opportunity.

Our responsibilities: Help kids/youth using Daisy rifles shooting BBS.  Teach the children the safety rules, provide them with basic marksmanship instruction and help them to have a great time and learn about being rifleman (and maybe pass on some revolutionary war history with the message of Appleseed)!

The event will be at the Owatonna and Rogers Cabelas starting from 9:30am - 2PM on that day (rain or shine).  Cabelas is supplying all of the gear for the shooters.  We can come in uniform and bring a table for handout of our gear (I plan to have a full promotions table).

ALSO....  USSA and Cabelas will pay for lunch and are offering "goodies" for us for helping out.  I don't know what they consist of, but sounds like they will have something for the volunteers.

Owning a chainsaw doesn't make you a logger.  Put some wood on the truck and keep all your fingers and toes at the end of the day, then I'll be impressed.  Likewise with rifles.

I maybe able to help out for a bit at owatonna but I have to work and my schedule is busy.

Awesome!   Sounds like Owatonna will be well covered.  If we have enough folks in Owatonna, my wife, kids, and I can go up to Rogers and help out up there.  We shall see what happens as we get closer.
