Ozark Hiker,

I grew up in Independence.  1st graduating class at Truman HS.  Living in Lee's Summit now.

Is April 3 & 4 your first Appleseed?  If so, you are going to have a blast.  Take plenty of ammo and some elbow pads.

It will be my 3rd Appleseed shoot.  Got a patch at the first one, but that was with a .22.  Gotta do it with the 03A3 Springfield, before I put on an orange hat.

See you there.

If you can't kill it with a 30-06 you ain't in North America.

Hector,

Good to see some more KCMO southsiders on the forum.  Seems the rest of the instructor corp from the area is North of the river!  Whereabouts are you in LS? I'm in Raintree off 150/291.

Near 3rd and 50 Hwy.  I know where 150 and 291 are.  I go through that intersection at least once a week on my way to my dad's house, in Greenwood.

BTW, did you change your avatar?  Seems like it used to be a Swiss K-31.  I have 3 of them, one of which may be the most accurate rifle I own.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I'm seeing a lot of NATO ammo for sale with "mildly corroded cases" will this affect feeding and function in an m1a?
