This is a Rifleman Boot Camp. This is a week long course that teaches all aspects of rifle use and also how to teach others.
Both Centerfire and 22 Rimfire rifles are allowed at this event.

Subject to state and local laws, Instructors at your event may have discounted .22 ammo available. Reach out to the contact at the bottom of this page for availability.
Range Fee: $5 per day range fee included in ticket price.
Camping Available:
Primitive campsites (no camper hookups) for Saturday night may be reserved with prior coordination. An outdoor hot shower is available on site but there is no potable water. A few electrical outlets are available to charge a cellphone. The range gate is normally locked: prior coordination must be made with the event Shoot Boss to coordinate range gate opening if needed for camping before the start of the event.
Hotels:
There are no motels in Ramseur but restaurants and cafes are open during the week.
Siler City is about 15 minutes east of the range. Limited motels and food choices are available.
Directions:
The range is at the corner of Willie Wright Rd & Royal Ridge Rd.
From Ramseur, North Carolina - go South on NC Route 22, about 2 miles, then left on Old Siler City Rd. Go about 2 miles to a Stop sign. Proceed straight from Stop sign (Parks crossroads). Immediately turn right onto Willie Wright Rd. Go about one mile to the range entrance on the left at the intersection of Willie Wright Rd. and Royal Ridge Rd.

It is the responsibility of attendees to know and comply with all State and Federal Firearms Laws.
Misc:
1. Unless you receive an email from the Shoot Boss stating otherwise, please arrive for your class by 8:30. Instruction will begin promptly at 9am.
2. The Ramseur range is Project Appleseed's home range. It has a concrete firing line and overhead cover. For rifle events, strongly recommend a shooting mat and possibly additional padding for elbows.
3. Food is not available at or near the range. Bring lunch each day, plenty of water, and snacks.
4. Upon arrival, please leave all firearms (concealed or open) in the car until after the safety briefing.
5. Walk-ons are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. There is limited space available. If you register in advance, you'll be be sure of your place on the firing line!
6. Centerfire rifles are welcome, but bring your .22 if you want to save on ammo costs.
7. Alcohol is NOT permitted on the range at any time.
