This is a Rimfire Known Distance Event. It is a 22LR (Rimfire) only event where the distances will be out to 100 yards or more based on the range. Only previous Appleseed attendees should sign up.

NO "LOANER" Rifles available!
Due to the recent passage of California Assembly Bill 1511, we will no longer be able to lend rifles to attendees in the state of California.
AB1511 bans loaning of all firearms, unless "to a spouse or registered domestic partner, or to a parent, child, sibling, grandparent, or grandchild".

Firearms must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal or handgun cartridges over .45 cal are allowed.

The Hat Creek Rifle & Pistol Club range is located 60 miles East of Redding on Hwy 299E. The range is 1 mile East of the Pit River bridge on the North side of the HWY (10 miles East of Burney and 8 miles West of Fall River Mills). The entrance is the second green gate on your left as you travel East of the Pit River.
