FINDING THE RANGE - Be advised that the range property is on Bob Moore Rd. The thing is that there are two different Bob Moore roads in the Cawthon community. The range is accessed through the NORTHERNMOST Bob Moore Rd. :)
The correct range entrance road is right next to a TXDOT green sign that says CAWTHON – the name of the nearest community. We try to have some Appleseed signs posted near the entrance. I've attached pictures of the Cawthon sign and the long entrance road to the range.
Once on the range entrance road there is a 15 MPH SPEED LIMIT. The speed limit helps preserve the condition of the range roads. Please adhere to this speed limit when arriving and when leaving. The range owner considers it extremely disrespectful to do otherwise, so please slow roll your bro-dozer.Follow the long, straight gravel entrance road, cross the NORTH BRIDGE (there is a sign at the bridge).
After you have crossed the NORTH BRIDGE continue on the gravel road. Take the curve to the left past the gate. You will see some oil tanks. Appleseed will be held in “C” bay – on the left side of the gravel road - the berm is past the tanks.
