A great big thank you to the members of Orwell Gun Club for hosting this past weekend's 25-meter rifle clinic. Thank you for supporting these events since 2018.

Congrats to those that scored over the 210. A few repeats and a couple of people (Ed and Patti) that deserve a huge congrats for attending several rifle clinics and getting their Rifleman patches this past weekend. What a paycheck for the instructor crew.

Right off the bat the bar was set high for the students when Patti cleared the hits count target on Saturday am. (We had a total of 5 people clear their hit count target.)  She backed that up three times with 3 awesome AQT's with her highest being a 239. Congrats also to Ed(223), Tom(225), Ben(213), Mike(221) and Todd with a 240!! Awesome scores for everyone. All students improved dramatically throughout the weekend. It was a pleasure seeing the improvement.

The three youth shooters were a joy to be with all weekend. Thank you to their parents also.

The instructor crew certainly had a great weekend also. Ohio gained a new Applecore volunteer, A Applecore volunteer became RSO certified and OhioPiper passed SBIT1 with flying colors. And, finally Ben (GarlichToast) decided to take up the orange hat journey. Congrats to everyone.

If anyone took some pictures please post them here.

Huzzah! Congratulations and THANK YOU to all who volunteered and those working on their promotions!
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery
