Please join me in congratulating Geek on his promotion to Designated Shoot Boss.

To be blunt, Geek is a rock star.  He has a calm, easy demeanor and a magnetic personality.  He runs top-notch shoots and has been crucial in the rebuilding of Indiana and Illinois.

Geek is a workhorse - he worked 31 events in 2024,and he loves to travel (with his wife and fellow RH JHB) having worked events in 10 different states as far away as Florida and Wyoming.

Congratulations, Geek, and thank you for everything you do for the program!  Now go train some Shoot Bosses!  ~~:)

It is humbling to get this promotion.  At a recent IBC, I heard these words "The most important promotion in Appleseed is that of designated Shoot Boss.  Appleseed trusts the dSB to essentially clone himself."  I am not sure the program really wants clones of me.  I will endeavor to meet the standards and help build our program to the best of my ability.  Thank you to all of those that I consider mentors.  There are a lot of you folks that help me on a regular basis.  I appreciate the confidence being placed in me.

None of this would be possible were it not for my wonder twin, JHB, that travels with me and is a shoot boss as well.

Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish.
