Mr. Clean

This 25m rifle clinic was sold out to capacity at 24, 4 of which were no shows. Close to half of the students were first timers at an Appleseed. Great progress in marksmanship was made as evidenced by the progressively better Hits Count targets through the weekend. Good job, shooters, on learning and a teachable attitude. Congratulations to our four new riflemen, Bryan, and Paul(dad), and sons Pius and Benedict! Huzzah! Also, thanks to our new orange hats Kjrr and Little Tom for helping pass this American tradition on in their first event as IIT's. Thanks also to the rest of our local instructor corps Wagon, led, ARGunner, without whom it would not have been possible to conduct the rifle clinic. Remember, a rifleman persists. Keep on that rifleman journey, continually working on your craft.
Many were interested in the CMP program, I issued certificates of the Appleseed course completion to qualify for purchasing rifles like the M1 Garand at roughly half market value. Contact the Civilian Marksmanship Program at https://thecmp.org. I hope to see you all on an Appleseed firing line in the future.

There were an impressive amount of new participants in this event that progressed measurably. It gave me a great sense of pride to see people celebrating their improvements, and growing more confident in their marksmanship skills. Thank you Mr. Clean for being our shoot boss and for putting on a great weekend.

This being my first Appleseed as an instructor in training, I realized that there are so many different approaches to what I have learned as a shooter. I look forward to continuing this journey and would highly recommend becoming an orange hat for anyone who would like to expand their knowledge further.

Congrats to all of our scoring riflemen, huzzah! I will post pictures further down on this thread.
