This was an outstanding event in a great venue. Mario and Shelly opened up their home and their "She Shed" to Project Appleseed. 21 Great Americans from 3 states all gathered in the small town of Fruitland Park Fl for the event.

We had 7 ladies, 8 IITs, 2 Sr Instructors and the best group of Red hats any Shootboss could ask for.

We had a lot to do so we started early at 8:30am. We jumped in with both feet into why are we really here. Is it Marksmanship, or something else. What's our mission, what guidelines do we follow to accomplish that mission and even things to avoid and basics of instructing.

With all that information, it was time to get into some nuts and bolts. We started with all the verbatim material and breaking out into small groups to practice. We had 6 small groups lead by our Red hats with Sr instructors floating to help as needed.  There was lots to work on and by 5:30 in the afternoon we were tired. Our intention was to work on IMC Saturday but it was getting late and dinner was almost ready. We did a quick demo of IMC and broke for Dinner.

Pulled pork and Chicken was donated by Pastured Life farms and man was it good! Thanks so much Dave and David. I must also put in a plug for Denise here. She was our AC for this event. She prepared 2 lunches and one Dinner for 20+ people.  Thanks so much. We could not have accomplished so much without your help.

Many of our folks had a long trip home so we started early on day two in hopes we could end a little early and get folks on the road.  Day two started with a little history and some more of the story around the speech we all have heard from Patrick Henery. After that we jumped right into IMC and a review of everything we did yesterday.

Its important to note that on Day one the feel like temp hit 105 degrees. Our venue was air conditioned, but it could not completely keep up. It was pleasant in the building, but we were working hard, and the fans helped. That heat slowed us down a little and we worked until about 4 PM on day two. We did not get to everything we wanted to, but we covered almost everything.

Thanks to everybody that came out. This was a great event and many promotions will come from it. I look forward to seeing all of you in a different color hat in the near future.

6:30 am......The quiet before all instructors arrive.

Most of our group.

Note sure this will fly with our regulations but we tried to get a new volunteer.

Ok this one if better. Patricia took an Orange hat at our event.

Small groups.

Thanks to everybody that came out.   Hope to see you again soon.

Man!  That was fun!  I really liked this IBC.  I have been to an IBC before, but this was my first as an instructor.  I learned a lot from Steve and Dennis, and I was BLOWN AWAY with the "students" in this group.  Outstanding doesn't cover it.  It was so polished and well covered, I can't imagine it gets much better than that.  Thanks to Lady Gator for feeding us all and cleaning up after us from all the meals.  Huge thank you to Farmer Dave and David Jr for the pork and chicken.  Simply none better.  Let's do it again!
What doesn't kill you makes cool scars, and scars are tattoos with better stories.

Can't say enough thanks to Mario and Shelly for hosting. It seems like the hardest part of an IBC is finding a venue. This one really couldn't have been better.

The entire weekend was fantastic, can't wait to do it again!

Anyone But Dallas

This was my first IBC and I have to say it was a fantastic event. First thank you Mario and Shelly for hosting all of us and thank you Farmer Dave for feeding us. As a newer IIT I didn't really know what to expect and was a little nervous. Everyone was so helpful and patient I couldn't of asked for a better group of people to do this with.
I learned so much in the two days and cant wait to continue this journey. This event definitely added to the fire I have to become an Instructor.

Thanks again to all those who helped organize and host this great event!
Everything was wonderful, from the food, to the locale to the instruction. This was also my first IBC and I feel like it will help all of us IITs at our future events!

P.S. we need to get a chihuahua sized blue hat made  ;D
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." ― C. This too was my first IBC and it was excellent! Thank you so much Mario and Shelly for hosting, & thank you to Dave & David for the amazing food and Denise for taking care of us all weekend (the brownies were delish)! The instruction and support was top notch, I can't imagine an IBC getting much better than this, we had an amazing group of instructors to lead the way-I learned so much and had a great time doing it. Thank you to everyone for making this weekend loads of fun.

Looking forward to continuing this journey to red hat!  :snipersmi

Also- I love pixie and support her journey to Applecore 🤣🐶 :1luvu

Excellent job by the team who put this IBC together.  Has to be the best venue for something like this, thanks Mario and Shelly for providing the location. Excellent instruction, I think all of the Orange hats learned more here than we would have at 3 or 4 shoots.  This was my first IBC.  The format is conducive to learning. The instructors simulating shooting problems so we could diagnose them and recommend solutions was not something I expected.  This was very helpful to me, thanks to the instructors for staying in positions way longer than is comfortable.  Practicing with no students present and having a good instructor to instructor in training ratio allows focus on details and I have better knowledge and confidence for the next event.  I'm writing a book here.  It was also fun and the food great.

Looks like a good time!  Wish we were there.  Also nice to see many familiar faces amongst the students.  Thanks to all participants for your time.  Look forward to working with you all in the future.  Sara.
