Coeur d'Alene Patriots Day instructor only shoot AAR

Due to range scheduling, our regular Patriot's Day, 2 day rifle clinic will be the following weekend. This Patriot's Day one day event was or instructors only, allowing the chance to brush up on delivering blocks of instruction and presentations in the presence of other instructors. It also provided the opportunity for instructors to requalify, making sure to keep those rifleman skills sharp. We need to put to rest that nasty rumor that taking an instructor hat means you don't shoot anymore.
The weather was clear and dry, but cool and breezy. Although we came for the serious business of sharpening our instructor and rifleman skills, we enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow instructors. We aired the idea of holding a social event, perhaps a summer BBQ, to include the families of our local instructor corps. Stay tuned for dates and location. As can be expected from such a fine group of riflemen, safety was in excellent form. I hope to make this an annual event.
