Although there was some threat of rain, we ended up having beautiful (but warm!) weather for this event.  A nearly sold-out line with 22 shooters kept the instructors busy.  Two of our most experienced instructors were unable to attend, but IITs Wagon, led, and ARGunner stepped up and conducted most of the classes, making significant progress toward their red hats.  eert joined us as well, providing invaluable expertise from his long experience as an Appleseed instructor and shoot boss.

With 5 youth shooters and a number of first-time participants, the instructors were kept busy coaching.  We had additional help from several experienced, qualified Riflemen with the 'carding the sights' drill.  The shooters clearly paid attention, as we had significant across-the-board improvement as well as five first-time Riflemen and two requalifications.

Congratulations to first-time Riflemen Abby, Kate, Ben, Jonathon, and Tigran, and to Tom and Dane for solid requalifying Rifleman scores.   Huzzah!

Thank you to all the instructors and thanks to the participants for your patience, persistence, and sustained focus, enabling us to have a safe, rewarding event.  We hope to see you all again!

A large Nalgene bottle with a Project Appleseed sticker was turned in to the  Fernan Lost & Found.  If it belongs to you, please PM me to arrange its return.
