Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

While I haven't had the pleasure of working with you on the firing line, you are Family.  There's little more that can be said- you have put forth the effort, and have been found to be full of the American Spirit.  Congratulations Sir. 

May you always look upon the moment of receiving the Red Hat as a point of pride in your life.  May the Red Hat sit upon your head with a recognition of the debt owed: to the founders who made it possible, and to your mentors who steered you upon the path. 

That Red Hat signifies an understanding of the debt owed, and a willingness to see that said debt is paid forward.  May it rest lightly upon your head, knowing that you have paid your debt forward, and then some.

Should you ever find yourself in Alaska, know that you have an extended family here, with welcoming arms.

Congrats Yates!!! I must have missed this earlier.
I don't always shoot AQT's, but when I do, I prefer iron sights.
