We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

This is the first Appleseed rifle clinic held at the Shoshone Co. public range. We hope to return for more events in the future. This time was a private event for a church group that filled the firing line to capacity. Despite many equipment issues and a high ratio of new shooters, most were quite happy with their progress. All heard the story of April 19th, 1775 to reignite the flame of true liberty, the inheritance of every American. Most commendable is the high level of safety and seriousness with which this group approached learning riflemanship. We kept it safe so everyone can come back for more, and fun so everyone wants to come back. As we were short on time from a late start Sunday, I sent everyone home with an AQT target to test their progress after doing some dry practice at home (no ammo in the same room with you). Practice getting into a solid shooting position (each of them), adjusting and getting into your sling correctly, find your NPOA quickly, practice smooth mag changes and rifle manipulations, review the 6 steps of firing the shot, trigger control can be fine-tuned with dry practice. Tell a friend, neighbor, relative about Appleseed and bring them back with you to continue on your journey to becoming a rifleman.
