Attention California Shooters!

Come join in the fun and celebration of the historic events of April 19th, 1775 by attending the Ridgecrest Appleseed marksmanship clinic, April 18th and 19th.

This event at Ridgecrest is one of an unprecedented NINE Appleseed events in California; over FIFTY nationwide occurring SIMULTANEOUSLY on the weekend of April 18/19!  This has never happened before, and you REALLY don't want to miss out!

This two-day rifle marksmanship clinic will be held at the Ridgecrest Gun Range Association (www.rgra.org) , at the corner of Brown and Wiknich Roads, Southwest of the town of Ridgecrest, and Southwest of Inyokern, Ca.

You will learn new marksmanship skills and improve on your old ones.  Whether you are and experienced shooter, or an absolute newbie; you will really enjoy this clinic and learn a lot.  Whether you are a dyed-in-the-wool "gun person", or someone who is just curious about shooting, this course is for you.  This is as Family-Friendly an event as there ever was.

This is a "shoot what you brung" affair.  Any rifle you like is fine;  rimfire or centerfire.  Rifles with good sights is a plus (scopes are fine, too), and rifles equipped with sling swivels an equally big plus.  Bring 150-200 rounds per day.  We will teach you sling-supported shooting techniques for standing, sitting, kneeling, and prone positions.  Shooting and instruction will be conducted on a number of specific targets, including the Army Qualification Test (AQT) targets.  Many of our students score "expert" on the AQT as a result or our training.  Those who do will receive an embroidered patch signifying that they are RIFLEMEN, rather than COOKS!

Walk-on fees for Appleseed are 80.00 for both days, 50.00 for one day.
You save $ by pre-registering.  70.00 for both days, 45.00 for one day.
Here's the best part...Women, shooters under age 21, active military (including Guard and Reserves) is FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a one-time 25.00 range fee (good for one year at this range), although the range fee is waived for all under age 21, and active military.

It's cheaper than a day at Six Flags, and a whole lot more fun.  Plus, you will take home skills and an appreciation of your American Heritage you absolutely could not get anywhere else.  If all that weren't already enough, two-day shooters get what is arguably the coolest tee shirt on the planet!

For more information and to pre-register for the event, visit www.rwva.org.

See you there!
