Good morning, friends.

Appleseed Guideline #14 is "Train your replacement."  It's important at every level in Project Appleseed.

Ghostring from Texas is retiring as Deputy NC.  During his 9 months as NC/D, Ghostring has been a fantastic member of the National Staff.  He's a sterling leader and has been instrumental with several key objectives.  Jim, you have my respect and gratitude for your contributions.  Texas and the Southwest Region are blessed to have you.  O0

With that said, please join me in welcoming Charley (Ashley) from Ohio as the new Deputy National Coordinator!!  We introduced her on the Staff & Regional Coordinator Zoom calls this past week.  I'm excited to have her on the team, as she is a gifted instructor and brings leadership skills to the role.

Huzzah!  Thank you for taking on this responsibility.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Charley is a great choice as our Deputy National Coordinator. When Charley first started with Project Appleseed she would travel around the Great lakes and South East regions to learn from some of the best Appleseed cadre. Charley has worked in 6 States and worked with more than 7 Master/Senior Instructors and countless Shoot Bosses. She would take a Weekend and drive 8 Hours to learn as much as she could from one of the Master Instructors. If you ever need help out West (Mrs. Smith) I'm sure Charley would consider traveling when time permits especially if it's a Ladseed. I know the Ladyseeds are special to Charley hopefully Charley, JustKim, Mrs. Smith, MadHatter and Google can  figure out a way to expand the Ladyseed program.
