It is with a heavy heart that I let the Appleseed community know we've lost Bob Kyle, sirbob, out of Coshocton, OH yesterday.

Sirbob was a huge supporter of Appleseed and cheerleader with his local range to have Appleseed events. Sirbob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

There are no arrangements to pass along currently but will be passed along when they are known. Keep Bob and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

WOW, Sad news indeed.

SirBob was great guy. He will be sorely missed.

Prayers to his family
"A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the
whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they
lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader."

I just caught up to a message from family this morning.  SirBob was a first class supporter of AS, a committed instructor and a friend.  I will miss him greatly.

Be bold, brave and forthright and the bold, the brave and the forthright will gather around you!

Always one to try to help out the cause. I remember the event where rain was forecast (it doesn't seem to rain as much at Coshocton as in some of the other close-by areas). Bob brought in PVC poles and pipe, fittings and tarps and rigged up a full overhead cover to keep the shooting line dry.

He will be missed.

I for one will never forget the kindness he showed me when I was a newbie and struggling. He gave me his phone number and contact info and met me at the range one very hot afternoon at Coshocten spending time, imparting knowledge and tips and showing patience to a rifle tyro. I would write him occasionally asking questions and if it was a bother to him I could never tell. I knew he did a lot for many people who all spoke kindly praising his tenacity and generosity.

See ya down the line, Sir Bob  @)
