We had one hot Appleseed weekend!   This was the hottest weekend of the year(so far), but the shooters showed great persistence improving their marksmanship skills through the weekend.

This was a great group of shooter, that included a group a friends that came to the Boise area for a bachelor party.  Having fun with your friends at night and shooting during the day; it doesn't get much better than that.   Thanks for including Appleseed as part of your weekend activities.  We also had a couple father and sons come to the range.  I love to see families come together and learn marksmanship and rekindle their passion of our country.

Congratulations to our two new rifleman, Garrett and Kyle.   The instructors reviewed all of the AQTs that were shot on Saturday, and we could tell that some Rifleman patches were going to be awarded this weekend.  In addition, we had three rifleman re-quality their rifleman scores.

For those that did not earn their Rifleman patch this weekend, keep persisting.   As we discussed, dry fire practice at home will help improve all of the Appleseed marksmanship techniques you learned this weekend.  You can perfect your trigger control, steady hold factors and practice those NPOA shifts.   I look forward to seeing you at another event and presenting you with a patch.
