Looking forward to a crisp November weekend with great American Patriots. See you on the range.

What a great weekend  Just a few weeks ago we only had 2 pre-registrations; 11 Patriots came to the line to learn about heritage and marksmanship. How we managed a dry weekend in Nov in the PNW is beyond me but dry it was. Once the sun broke through it was quite pleasant. Congratulations to Sean, Dave & Barry on making Rifleman! Way to persevere. Barry was shooting fantastic groups but one form or another of mechanical failure kept him from that elusive 210 but when it all came together he shot a 238!!! Then followed it up with a 228 on the bonus AQT. Sean and Dave were both running irons and turned out solid Rifleman scores  ^:)^

Everyone at the event had moments of brilliance. Each of you has a Rifleman in you - dry practice and come see us again for that patch.

Thanks to Earl, Ralph and Matt for stepping up to help this weekend. Really appreciate you guys.

See you on the trail

Huzzah! Congratulations to the new Riflemen, and well done to all instructors. That's a great turnout at Custer for this time of year.

Great to hear, I may or may not have had something to do with that. Made a post on another site, that one of you may have stopped by..

Anyway, glad there was a decent showing for the last event at Custer. Hope to see more events scheduled there in 2019.

Have to say this was one of the best Appleseed events for my year. Fine folks coming out to learn share and care about our unique American heritage. Shooting rifles particularly well.

I give you a link to my blog Appleseed trail, remember the seventh stepping and you, too can wear an RWVA cap and promote the heritage and the tradition.

... to catch the fire in another American for sharing the skills and our heritage to our posterity. Maybe my perfect shots will be made by those I met along the trials and trails of Appleseed. I know that America is a nation of Riflemen.

Fantastic Appleseed! Lots of really good attitudes. Not only did everyone show up Saturday AND Sunday, we even gained one on Sunday. The crisp fall weather could not have been nicer. Great job instructors and REALLY great job shooters! Huzzah! :F
