Crack!  The air is pungent with the smell of gunpowder
Rip! The paper is punched through by the bullet
Breath. The bolt cycles, the sights shift
Crack!  The bullet spits the air
Sigh. The shooter stands, letting the rifle rest


Thought you might find that entertaining, along with the fact it got her an A for the the school assignment.
