What a beautiful weekend at the Madison County Shooting Association in New Market, Al.  The weather was a bit humid but not too uncomfortable with mostly clear skies until Saturday afternoon when we had a little rain that in no way impeded our shooting. :~

We had 8 shooters on the line, both new and return Appleseeders, including 3 great young people, Sophia, Duncan and Sean. It is always great to see several generations in attendance. All were enthusiastic and eager to learn as well as being very attentive to the history.

We started and finished the day on Saturday with the Hits Counts targets and managed to get an AQT in as well. Sunday, we quickly did our reviews, did some sighter squares and got right into the first AQT of the day. We finished Sunday with a little steel competition that left everyone with smiles on their faces. Everyone showed great improvement over the weekend and all are riflemen in the making. :)

Congratulations to our two new rifleman, Brenda and Dan. ^:)^
Huzzah!
