Good day all! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

2015 is coming soon!   We need to focus forward and make the upcoming year our most successful Project Appleseed year yet!

How do we plan to make 2015 more successful?

  • We won't let what we can't control stop us! Ammo issues continue to plague the rimfire world.  We can not control that, however, we know that ammo is becoming more available.  When we find places that have ammo we will post that availability to Facebook, Twitter, and our other communication vectors to shooters.  We can help them find ammo as we can.
  • We will focus on what we can control. The following line items are a starting list of what we can do.

    • Continue to provide very high quality instruction at any price!  We are a bargain, and the quality of instructors brings shooters back and helps them want to spread our message for us!  In 2015 we will work on iniatitives to help our team stay very high quality and have a more professional appearance.  We do an impressive job of acting professional for a group of volunteers  O0 , but we can always strive to improve.
    • Go all out for April the 19th weekend in 2015!  We would like to get 3-4 shoots lined up for that weekend if possible.  This is in response to Fred's challenge.  This will also help us to kickoff the year in a big way!
    • Let's get ranges on the schedule as soon as we can.  The sooner ranges are on the schedule, the sooner we can start promotion work.
    • Promote, Promote, Promote!  Some of the MN team sits on the new national marketing team.  We are involved and helping to get things moving on promotions.  We are testing a few new promotions types.
    • Libertyseeds!  Libertyseeds spread the message and inspire people that aren't regular shooters.  Libertyseeds spread the message to people that NEED to hear a message of liberty, sacrifice, and heritage.  Libertyseeds are also GREAT promotional tools for Project Appleseed!  Just take a look at what Indiana has been doing over the last couple years to see how they are helping to spread the Appleseed promotion via Libertyseed.
    • Step up for non-shooting roles!  Just 1 hour a week can be an amazing help to the cause.  We need folks to help in dedicated roles:  managing the MN Appleseed Newsletter, Rang Coordinator, Special event coordinator, MN specific Promo team, Applecore coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Contact/Database Admin, and......wait for it....... FUND RAISING.......   .  I have contacted several of the MN team to think about some of these roles.  If I haven't talked with you yet, please PM/Email me and we can talk over a role!

There is more coming!  Watch the forums for exciting new opportunities to push our mission forward!!

I leave you with this quote.........

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has"

"Better to fight for something than live for nothing." George S. Patton

"The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessing; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries." Winston Churchill
