I'm putting together my first strike guide posts and would like to add the age of the men who died in Lexington during the first skirmish.  Trying to show that Capt Parker's men were from all ages.

Here is what I have:
Jonas Parker - 52
Isaac Muzzy - 31
Jonathan Harrington Jr. - 30
Samuel Hadley - 29
Caleb Harrington - 25
Robery Munroe - 63

What I don't have, and can't find anywhere, are the ages of John Brown and Ashabel Porter.  Can anyone help?

I sometimes do a Memorial Volley and announce the ages of those who died. Afterwards I point out the fact that they never grew to an old age, never held their grandchildren, and did not die at home in their own bed. Makes an impact.
The American Constitution is remarkable for its simplicity; but can only suffice a people habitually correct in their actions, and would be utterly inadequate to the wants of a different nation.  Change the domestic habits of the Americans, their religious devotion, and their high respect for morality, and it will not be necessary to change a single letter in the Constitution in order to vary the whole form of their government. - Francis Grund 1837

I think all the men's ages were listed on the April 19th Memorial Volley for Liberty COF.

For Liberty, each Freeman Strives
As its a Gift of God
And for it willing yield their Lives
And Seal it with their Blood

Thrice happy they who thus resign
Into the peacefull Grave
Much better there, in Death Confin'd
Than a Surviving Slave

This Motto may adorn their Tombs,

Than live as Slaves to You"

OK, I was mistaken.  It wasn't on the COF, it was posted in a thread by 9mm4545, and it included others, not just those at Lexington.  Here is what he posted:

QuoteIn case you want to know, here are the ages of the individuals that are honored in our Memorial Volley for Liberty:

ROBERT MONROE-- age 63
JONAS PARKER-- age 53
SAMUEL HADLEY-- age 29
JONATHAN HARRINGTON-- age 30
ISAAC MUZZY-- age 31
CALEB HARRINGTON-- age 24

I hope that is helpful.
