Ohio is in a better place and SCSC now has two SBs (One of which actually lives in the state  ;) )  

Congrats brother, you earned it.  I'll work for you anyday!  (except holding that light.  That is a HORRIBLE job)

This is not the only milestone reached by PB this weekend.

For over two years, since before he was an IIT, Posterboy has been working tirelessly, and often invisibly, to build the Appleseed program in Gibsonburg. He has carefully cultivated excellent relations with the club leadership; they've come to regard Appleseed as a valuable asset.  PB has sunk who-knows-how-much money into line supplies, spare equipment for shooters, gun-show memberships, promotional material, and (I'm sure) more. He has spent countless hours 7th-stepping at gun shows, Camp Perry, civic groups, and who-knows where else. It's a way of life for him.

Now at Gibsonburg, we have the potential for a line of up to 60, and this has been the dream goal. There were times last year, and even earlier this year, when we've had like 15 shooters show up. And Mike would confide, "What are we doing wrong? Why aren't they showing up?" But he has persisted, for months, years even.

And this weekend at Gibsonburg, we had the Ohio's record-largest Appleseed event --- some 55 unique shooters (I don't know the official count). This was PB's debut as Shoot Boss. What coud be more fitting?

The Green Hat is an important milestone, quite. I offer my heartfelt congratulations on this achievement. But I suspect that for Posterboy, the record-breaking turnout on the Gibsonburg line is at least as gratifying. I tell you, that's where his heart has been this whole time.

Mike, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Thank you for recruiting me to Appleseed. Congratulations, bro', on seeing G'burg come into it's own! Oh and by the way, congrat's on that hat thingie too.  :cool2:
