Manheim, PA - Nov. 20/21
« on: November 28, 2009, 05:46:53 PM »
Had a great time at my first Appleseed event. Saw marked improvement in skills and marksmanship - plus had a great time.

I'd go into details, but as I have already done so on my blog and it resulted in three large posts. I figure I'll just provide links below.

BTW, I'd like to add a promotional link/banner/logo to help promote the Appleseed Project.  Do any exist?

NUNGUN,
Awesome write up sir.  O0 It took me some time and stretching before I could easily use the sitting position, but that is where dryfire practice at home comes in. I highly suggest the tech sights for your rifle, and one of the great things about them is that any standard AR-15 front sight post will fit into the front sight base. So if you want a fiber optic front sight here a a few that would drop in. Midway USA carries the same sites as below for a few bucks less too.

I am planning to acquire the tech sights. And I think I'll go with the HiViz AR post.

Any links to promotional logos I can add to my blog.

Nugun - It was great working with you at Manheim last weekend.  Your good spirits were infectious.  Hope to see you again soon at an AS and you are welcome to use my 10/22 any time you like.

My wife says I'd be a better writer if I actually proof-read or at least re-read what I wrote before posting.  I just find that I seldom have the time to do so.

*LOL*
