The perfect weekend for a 25m Marksmanship Clinic at Mid Carolina Rifle Club.  Nine hardy souls came and began or continued their path to Rifleman.

I am please to announce that two shot a qualifying score on an Appleseed Qualification Test and earned their Rifleman patch. Despite the unseasonable heat with white sand, Nearly everyone was knocking on the door and I am confident that if they return that all will shoot 210 or better.

Instructors for this weekend were Shayes13, Upacreek from GA, TazDevil and DEH.

It was great to border raid into South Carolina.  Thanks so much for your hospitality!  Bonus, I got to stay at TazDevil's place with THREE dogs!  It reset my dog deficiency for a little while.  A huge thanks to his wife who even packed me dinner to eat on the drive home.

The shooters were great.  They listened very well and put everything into practice from the start.  Their first shots on the squares target told us it'd be a great weekend and it was.  Those that didn't shoot rifleman scores yet are sure to get it soon.  Perfect practice makes perfect and you guys were looking awesome.  My internet is not being nice, so I don't have all the pictures I want to upload yet.  Come visit us in GA!


Geez!  DEH makes it easy to check people in.


Patton cleared his schedule for the shoot.  Thanks for coming.  I hope to see you at another.


Shayes cards the sights.  It's great to meet other volunteers.


Matthew did great with his AR.  I'm sure he'll shoot a rifleman score at his next event.


Zachary scored rifleman on his practice AQT.  There's no such thing as a practice AQT.  Zachary scored a rifleman score on his first AQT!  Congrats!


Awesome job, Christian!  First Appleseed and first rifleman score.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
