Good morning everyone!

In case you missed it, Project Appleseed has invested a great deal of time and effort into updating and modernizing our pistol clinics. The new format has earned the moniker "Pistolseed!"  Our deepest gratutude to the team who worked, and debated, and worked some more, to make this new course of instruction a reality. 

Our very own GHOSTRING will be conducting a Pistolseed Rebluing IBC August 22-23 at the City of Albuquerque Shooting Range Park.  Pirate jokes included, free of charge!

This event is primarily geared toward current pistol-qualified volunteers who are now, or are planning to become, Pistol instructors.  It will be two days of education and fun, and food (did I mention Maha and RangeMom are cooking???)

Here's what this Rebluing IBC can do for YOU!

Current Pistol instructors:  This is one-stop shopping for current pistol instructors and Shoot Bosses to be trained and turned out, ready to run and work Pistolseed clinics in the updated format.  Sign up!

For those volunteers who are not already Pistol Instructors: we are rolling out your path to Pistolseed Instructor in phases.

Like all IBCs, this course will prepare you for the Progress Check process and set you up for success as you become Pistolseed Instructors.  Laying a solid foundation of understanding and practice amongst your peers is THE BEST WAY to begin that journey!  Sign up!

Here's what that looks like:

Pistol-qualified Red and Green hats: May begin completing Progress Checks at any time.

Pistol-qualified Orange hats:  We will begin Progress Checks for current Orange Hats starting in January. This includes Pistol-qualified Blue Hats who are happy with their administrative role in Rifle, but wish to become Pistol Instructors.

For those volunteers who are not yet Pistol qualified, but wish to get a head start on their Pistolseed journey, this IBC can help you prepare, so that as soon as you've qualified you can begin on the timeline for your current hat color from a position of strength.

***it's important to remember that, just like our rifle program, volunteers cannot teach any Pistol blocks of instruction at a public event until you're officially a Pistol instructor or a Pistol IIT***
