Project Appleseed

WOW. What an event at the Monroe Sportsman Center in Conneaut, OH. A great big thank you to the members of this club for shutting down their 5 trap ranges for the entire weekend so that a 25 meter rifle clinic can be conducted on the property. A big thanks also goes out to the many volunteers that makes this event happen every year. We had 24 people both days that were very eager to learn about their American history and heritage and to improve their rifle marksmanship skills.

Even though we only had one repeat rifleman score the entire weekend it was great to see so many youth and adults that have never fired a rifle join us. The improvements that we witnessed is definitely a great paycheck for the volunteers.

It was a pleasure to have a foreign exchange student from Italy join this event.
