Project Appleseed

Thank you all for such a successful 25m rifle clinic. We had 16 shooters after some no-show/reschedule places on the line opened up. There were first timers alongside veteran Appleseeders, 3 youth shooters that were exceptionally mature and serious in learning. All the instructors were impressed at the quality of our youth shooters.
We also had lots of instructors and Applecore volunteers on the line shooting to keep their skills sharp. Tere were so many RM requalifications that I lost count, including 2 distinguished scores. I'm glad to see they are keeping on the rifleman journey beyond the waypoint of achieving a rifleman score. Thank you, instructors, for going the extra mile in delivering history presentations that inspired. I couldn't have run this event without your help.
Two new riflemen were minted as well as the many requals. Well done to you all. Everyone was encouraged by the visible improvement as evidenced in comparing their Hits Count targets. For all those who were knocking at the door of a RM score, persist and it will soon be accomplished. Come back to a future Appleseed, after lots of dry practice at home and live fire practice at the range. Watch the improvement as you put into practice all that you learned this weekend. I hope to see you all again on the firing line at a future Appleseed.
