Our spot has been reserved for Project Appleseed at THE largest D-Day reenactment in the country. 80 year anniversary. This has been an annual event for us for over 10 years. Many shooters have been brought to our firing line through this event.(and some now wear green hats!) This year will do the same. Lots of help would be welcomed, as we are often overwhelmed with interested visitors. Work an hour or two or 3days. The event is free for everyone. Tanks, Higgins landing craft, plane flybys, battles, machine guns, French resistance, Brits, you name it.

We will be there Friday.

YOU NEED TO GET A TICKET!  There is no charge for them, but you need to get a ticket from the website.  The pictures do not do this event justice!

If you are a veteran bring proof of service for admission to the veteran's tent and to get admission to seating for the battle.

I hope to see you there.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Another great outreach completed. We will get an AAR started shortly. Saturday, the last day of the event, was cut short due to thunderstorms but we still spoke to over 300 folks before the rain came and we had to evacuate. Many thanks to crazyduckhunter, Dee, Gmjoe, Charles McKinley, Piper, and Aliquippa for helping out this year. I'm sure we made meaningful contact with at least 1,000 people this year. It was almost nonstop at our booth. My feet hurt...

Thank you Birdman, and thanks to all who helped spread the Appleseed message.
