Thank you for the post.  I have found other good information on this site in the past.

Quite a lot to take into account.  It seems very plausible.  I speculated it was a servant or similar person that was mostly invisible to people of the time.

Thanks. A very good article. I never did buy Fisher's the story of Mrs. Gage being the source. I have also read other sources and there were many indicators reported that something was about to occur.

As there is no history of estrangement between Thomas and Elisabeth Gage, I do find it hard to believe she was the source.  The article presents a good possibility.
