Boy did we have a good time in Leesburg Fl.  The Weather was ominous but that did not stop this group from turning out.

Saturday morning started out with Thunderstorms threating and a flat tire on one of the shooters cars. Instructors to the rescue. Mario fixed the flat tire (two for the weekend) and we all tied down our Popup tents.  After a safety brief we went into the Red coat.  One rifle was broken right from the start. A 10/22 would not load a mag.  Again Instructors to the rescue. We disassembled it and found the ejector was installed upside down.  Quick fix and back in the fight.

The Red coat showed we had some work to do. And we got right to it.

Drill after drill we worked on shrinking the groups and getting those rifles zeroed.   We ended day one a little earlier than we may have liked but the Thunderstorms were not going to wait forever. Day one found us our first new rifleman in Don with a 216.  David who has scored rifleman many times also turned in a score of 245 on this first AQT.  He set the bar high.

Day two was a bit cool for us Florida folks. Wind blowing and well just darn cold but no more rain. We can only shoot from 10 to 3 so we got right to it.  Full reviews and then off to shooting. The day went very well and by the end of it we pulled out two more new rifleman. Derek at his first Appleseed with a 210 and Charlie with a busted knee shot a 213.

Great job by all.  David went from a low score of 80 to a high score of 145 on the AQT
Daniel from a 111 to a 145
Ali from a 102 to a 141

Outstanding work from all the shooters. Look forward to seeing you all on the line again soon.

Huzzah, a rifleman persists, even in cold weather! Great job to all.

Man!  It was cold on Sunday!  I look like a popsicle for most of these pics.  I am so proud of all the shooters this weekend!  We revealed a few new Riflemen and some are knocking on the door!  I really really hope we see all of them back again.  I thoroughly enjoyed this group of fine gentlemen and I am so proud of Charlie!  He persevered through many weekends and finally broke through.  Maybe it took that busted knee to bring it out of him!  ^:)^. Ali!  Flat tires won't stop you from coming back!  You are becoming every bit a shooter my friend!  Vitalie!  If you don't score the next time out, I will be shocked.  Kon, if you just don't let that bottom row get into your head, you will be the next patch!  Daniel and Dave, I am so proud of you both!  New shooters, new area, first time at this range?  Dang y'all did so good!  I can't wait to see you again in May.  It's gonna be a patch heavy shoot in May!  Derek, Don and Charlie congratulations!!!!  Let's do it again!
