Awesome event. Enough said for now. Mainly a place holder. Much more to follow.

Saturday presentation of cleared redcoats.

WOW what an event we had at On Target Outfitters in Canfield, Ohio this past weekend. This club/organization is just amazing. This time the program director was able to attend and he had a great time(or so he says) and scored as well to top it all of. The people that run and organize this venue are just amazing.

Saturday morning we had 19 people eager to drink from the fire hose of instructions that we were about to douse them with. They all stood up to the task. The Saturday morning redcoat was very promising. We had 4 of the 19 clear it.  17 of them had three hits in the 100 yard silhouette! HMM have we been to this range before and do we have some repeat attendees?

During the course of the day this was repeated many times. Each and every student took to instruction well. The positive attitudes of all attendees and instructors alike was just amazing. Everyone was smiling and encouragement was passed all around.

Congrats go to those who cleared a redcoat over the course of the weekend: Nick, Steve, John, Toby, April, Jeff, Craig, Craig, Blake & Gwen.

Congrats go out to those that also either finally got over the 210 score or went way beyond. Jeff with a distinguished score of 241, April!, Toby, Craig, John, Nick, Steve, Frank, Nolan, Derek and David who is a instructor that proved that instructors can still score riflemen.

The final redcoat of the weekend on Sunday afternoon was pretty special. All 19 people got the 100 yard nailed. 13 at 200, 7 at 300, 9 at 400 and 9 got Mr. Morgan's shingle. Sadly only 2 people cleared it. But wow it was impressive never the less. There were smiles all around.

A special thank you must go out to Howie. He made wooden plaques that he gave to the host clubs that he has attended Appleseed events at. They are special.

I cannot wait until the spring shoot at this club in May. Looking forward to it.

What a great event to be a part of! Lots of great shots up there!

Kudos to all the instructors that answered the call.  O0

Having been to this range a couple of times before, I would have been there myself but had my own event to run.

Conrats to all the shooters and Appleseed staff.
"A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the
whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they
lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader."
~ Samuel Adams

Thank you everyone for posting these pictures. It was a great event.

Looks like it was a great event! I love working these. Hopefully next year the dates won't be the same as my home range AS event.
Great Job everyone.

Charles McKinley

This is a great venue filled with great people!  Honored I could help.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery
