Project Appleseed

Charley organized  a great shoot. What a dedicated group of instructors!  I've never been to a shoot this cold! We were all dressed up like Ralphie's little brother in A Christmas Story.

We got great feedback that we will be incorporating into the pistol program.

Many thanks to CrazyDuckHunter for the use of the Orwell range and clubhouse, and all the cooking he took care of.  The hospitality was much appreciated. And many thanks to NomadicHillBilly for leaving his warm family (and state) and lending his expertise.

It was great to see so many instructors from so many locations at Orwell. I wish that I could of spent more time at the club house and shot the course of fire but I will certainly look forward to the next time. The members of the Orwell Gun Club appreciate the donations that were made. The members of the club always enjoy seeing Appleseed events at the club.

Thanks so much to malabar and nomadichillbilly for leaving the "Sunny South" and flying up to the "Frozen North" to conduct the boot camp. The instruction and insight into pistol techniques was awesome!

As always, it was a real treat to spend time with the Appleseed Family, and also get to send rounds down range.

We had a great weekend! It was sooooo cold outside 🥶

I didn't get many pictures at all but the one I did get was our out of state instructors getting their Ohio Patch! Thank you all for attending!
