Project Appleseed

Hi all -

I was hoping to attend another Appleseed event in the coming months, but don't see anything besides the Vale, OR KD shoot in the Boise, ID area.  Any hope for us Treasure Valley shooters?

Rexburg has a couple this summer, I'm not familar with the location Treasure Valley.

MJMcMahon, the Vale Appleseed is a KD event, for those who have already earned their Rifleman's patch.

Here is a list of upcoming Appleseeds, with very approximate distances from Boise:
March 16 & 23 - Kaysville, UT  (4.5 hours) - (consecutive Saturdays)
April 13-14 - Lewiston, ID  (5 hours)
April 20-21 - Waitsburg, WA  (4.5 hours)
May 17-18 - Kaysville, UT  (4.5 hours) - (Fri-Sat)
May 18-19 - Blackfoot, ID  (3.5 hours)
June 1-2 - Lewiston, ID  (5 hours)
June 22-23 - Rexburg, ID  (4.5 hours)
June 22-23 - Nampa, ID  (.5 hours)

You might have already seen this, but a Nampa event was added for Jun 22-Jun 23 and another one for Oct 26-Oct 27.

Mark - The Treasure Valley is the Boise-Nampa-Caldwell area.  Magic Valley is the Twin Falls area, in case that comes up.

There are so many treasure valleys around, it just did not ring a bell in my head focused on things closer to home.

I'll have the grille setup at camp.  How about I bring an extra steak for the shootboss on Sat?

My conotatioans were more geographic when mentiong things closer to home.
But she is doing ok, hasn't worked in months, and we might be taking a trip to the mayo clinic some time soon, just hope it does not conflict with the Vale shoot.
Appleseed has this tradition of an instructor meal. With the locals all going to a sold out Freinds of NRA banquet Sat night. Could you bring out stack of steaks, and stuff and we will reimburse your expenses from our pockets?
Maybe the high scorer of the day can do dishes!

I'll put something together.  How many instructors?

14 0r 15, Only one signed up to work, the rest are comming to shoot, Just about every one there is an appleseed instructor.
Do you need volenteers?

Maybe some help manning the grill.  I think it's time to get the dutch ovens out... I got some ideas  ;-)
