ShadowMan's hat changed from orange to red at the Bickleton, WA Patriot's Day event on April 22nd. George has done a fantastic job on the line, and has proved his dedication to the program. He also continues to do a wonderful job as the Northwest Region's promo coordinator. So glad to be on the Trail with you, George!

Thank you all for your support and your friendship as we travel together down the Appleseed Trail.  Evenstar nailed it with her caption, "the smile says it all."  It was awesome to receive my red hat because they aren't just given away.  It was the culmination of a lot of study and learning from other instructors while on the line.  I am still learning.

About the State Coordinator thing, thanks Roland, but TruT has it right.  Theophilus and I are working together to hold things together in our state while we figure out what step to take next.  We don't want to make a hasty decision (or worse yet, a hasty hasty decision) without counting the cost and considering our various options.  06en has done a great job and we need to be patient about finding his replacement.

And to my Appleseed friends I haven't met face to face yet, the feeling is mutual.  I hope to meet you all in person.
