Do any Washington shooters or instructors have personal experience with the Washington Arms Collectors gun club?  Anyone a member?

This gun club sponsors monthly gun shows in Puyallup and Monroe, WA.  There is some interest in doing some promotions at some of their shows, but I'd like to see if there is someone who can help me introduce Project Appleseed to their board of directors.

Are there any instructors or Applecore folks who would be interested in helping staff a booth at one of their gun shows?  Anyone interested in helping make an Appleseed presentation to the board of directors?

My membership has actually lapsed...I will renew shortly.  Jo and I can work a table, and make contact, but we will likely need more help.

I am a WAC member. WAC puts on gun shows and is active in informing members about legislation affecting gun owners. Table rental at a gun show is $40 and I believe requires membership in WAC. Annual membership dues are $35.

A call or email to Leland Bull, president, should get you started.

edit: I forgot to mention I would be open to staffing a table at a Puyallup show.

Kenjo - does WAC allow non-profits to have tables at their shows?  And if so, is there a lower rate to have a table?  I will see if we can get AS to fund a table, but I'd like to stretch a $$$ if we can.

RL - thanks for stepping up to make contact.  I'm sure you will get some help to get this thing off the ground.

Anyone else have connections?  Willing to volunteer and help?  Have ideas?

Hey Shadowman

Depending on the dates, I may be able to help man a table at the Monroe event.  I have relatives nearby that I could stay with.  Obviously, I would prefer some company.   ::)
