Growing up in central NJ, back in the day, we had field trips to Morristown, etc.  All the 'Washington slept here' places.  FWIW, i'm taking my 10 yr old to the Shiloh reanactment this weekend.

Making me jealous, I can only "see" and "experience" these places vicariously by such websites/publications. I'm going to revisit Boston/New England again one day and see it all first hand.
