NEED MI GUN SHOW VOLUNTEERS ASAP

Hey Michiganders,
This is another call to get off the couch and get your butt to a gun show, along with some AS flyers...
The gun show list follows:
Harrison - 5/23-34
Monroe - 6/13-14
Grand Rapids - 6/27-28
Lansing/Mason - 7/3-5 (yes, that's three days)
Mason - 7/11-12 (Civil War show)
Cadillac - 7/18-19
Grand Rapids -  8/1-2
Birch Run - 8/8-9
Novi - 8/15-16
If you are going to one of these shows - print some flyers off the website and take them with you - in a week or so, there will be two MI Appleseeds officially on the schedule and in the flyers for you to publicize. Find the front info table and set some flyers there.  Talk to a vendor and see if he can give you a corner of his table to make flyers available.  If you are able to spend a few hours there, call the show coordinator and ask for a free table (we are 501c3 - the table donation is tax deductible for them).  Talk up Appleseed.  Get on this board and ask for help manning an Appleseed table.  If I can get a babysitter, I'll come and help.  Folks, you have to step up to the plate if you want more Appleseeds here in this state.  So far, there have been only two other people in MI besides me who have arranged for a shoot.  I realize not everyone has the time or facilities to do that, so I'm asking for something easier - GO TO A GUNSHOW and get the word out about Appleseed, because someone you talk to will be a gun club director happy to host us, or will own enough private land and a Bobcat to make AS a range.  I am not asking you to get up in front of a crowd of people, just talk to individuals already interested in guns AT A GUNSHOW, which you can now say it is your Patriotic Duty to attend.  Thanks, Michiganders!   &)

My daughter and I are setting up at the Michigan Gun Shows, Birch Run this August 8-9th. I'll be happy to set up some flyers and discuss Appleseed with customers. Now to find those flyers....

The flyers for all the shoots currently on the calendar are posted online and available for download and printing.  Print a bunch and take them with you to handout or add to the info table - it's time to get the word out for this year's shoots!  And get registered fast, they will fill up soon!
