Questions.
Is there any way at all to get to attend a pistol clinic without first doing a 25M clinic?

And Texas, any chance at all of getting a Pistol Clinic in Hempstead, New Braunfels or Waco, esp. 4th quarter when less stiflingly hot?

There's no requirement to do a 25m rifle clinic before attending a pistol clinic.  The only restriction on pistol clinics is 18 years of age or older.

Thank you. I thought the 25M was required before any others. I guess maybe just before any other rifle clinics. Now if we can just get a pistol clinic closer than 700 miles round trip. :)

You're thinking too small! Come on up to the Michigan for a summer pistol clinic and enjoy our refreshingly cool midsummer weather!

If only I'd been born rich instead of so good looking. :) I'd love to. Other than the condition of the roads I always liked Michigan when I'd dispatch there with FedEx. Well, not so much bracketing new years, much prefer Texas around that time. :)

Hey, so let me speak directly to your second question about Texas.

I'm part of the North (Faaaar North) Texas crew that does pistol events in Muenster.

First off - you're always welcome to join us there.  We do events in the Spring and the Fall, because . . . yeah.  Texas.  It doesn't matter how many canopies we put up or how many towels we use to cover the pistols - those things become too hot to handle on an outdoor range in the summer.  We tried it once.  Once.

Second - I can make no promises but I've actually been speaking with the Waco range.  We may be changing the September event from rifle to pistol.  If we do, I'll be there to help work that event.  I don't have an exact time for when that decision will be made but I'd recommend checking in over the next couple of weeks; we're trying to see if we can make that happen sooner rather than later.

Texas is a big state and we totally get how just having one spot in the North of Texas means anyone interested is in for a drive.  We're working on expanding the offerings, but there's always that little matter of logistics.

That's good to hear Jason. A chance is always a good thing. Thanks and 73.
