April 18th dawned cold & windy, but 10 shooters showed up to hear Project Appleseed's message of Liberty and learn the fundamentals of effective rifle marksmanship.

After the First Strike, the marksmanship instruction began in earnest, including diagnosing an unusual scope malfunction - the front lens was loose in the scope bell. The noon hour meant the Second Strike and IMC.  The afternoon was progressive challenges - mag change, transitions, and new positions. Fortunately, the wind died (rare for Albuquerque in April) and the day warmed up nicely.  The day ended with the Third Strike.

Sunday started with review of yesterday's material, including Caboose's first turn teaching.  Thanks for stepping up!  We completed several AQT's before noon. Noon brought the Prince Estabrook story, the Bloody Butchery poster, and the Patriot's Memorial volley.  Two rounds of the Parker's Revenge challenge rounded out the shooting for the weekend.

I forgot a key element of the AAR!

Bill F. shot scores of 218, 215, and 228.  Huzzah!

Doug H. and Dean C. were close with scores of 208 & 209, respectively.
