Is there a term for a local Appleseed group?

Geek and I call our group of instructors our cadre.  It changes based on where we are but once you have worked a shoot for us, you are automatically a part of our group.

WOW!  I use the term cadre' most of the time.  We have local, state, etc.  It sounds like you would be an awesome fit with any of the above listed terms/teams!  I would love to hear your ideas of how to keep the interest up at our 25m - actually all of our events.  New ideas are always welcome!
It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan

Thanks! I'm also interested in sharing ideas on how to promote local events and how to take a shooter who attends a 25m event and then make sure they continue on to an RKD and then a 400yd event. Or take a person who is interested in RKD or KD, and make sure they get connected with a 25m event early enough to be able to do the distance events without losing year and having it drop off their radar. I still haven't spoken to my shoot boss about volunteer roles yet, so I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. I will need to know what kinds of outreach the organization and my team is comfortable with. This is really a topic for another thread, so I'll get one started after I speak with my shoot boss and get some of the info I need.

I hear "cadre" used regularly. "Group", "folks", and "crew" seems to apply nicely.

Appleseed family works well. "'Seeders" sounds O.K.

Any group who consistently gathers to work with you around a group of people you have never met before for live fire rifle events becomes closer than blood relatives quite often...

  In my experience.
