2025 Illinois Year in review

Happy Holidays!


Thank you all for your dedication to Project Appleseed in Illinois. 2025 was a great year for us, and I am already excited for 2026.


A few highlights from the year:

-119 Shooters registered this year (Most since 2018 and the first triple digit year since 2019)

-We broke 2K! The TIPS Stats only goes back to 2012, but it officially shows IL has had 2024+ shooters on the line.

- 12 events this year!

-Our Bonfield Patriots Day shoot was our biggest of the year, and TIPS says we sold out 4 events.

- We hosted a Pistol IBC, and got a surprise visit from Fred (yes that Fred).


I especially want to thank our border raiders for all their support; Geek, JHB, Myraddah, Flintlock54, Big John, SteelThunder, IXOYE, EchoCharlie, and TheGunslingingGamer; and our Shoot Boss's Geek, JHB, IXOYE, TheEditor, and SteelThunder.


Next year is looking like another great one, celebrating the 250th. We already have 12 events on the calendar(across the whole state!), including a Rimfire KD, 2 Pistol Clinics, and 2 Patriots Day events. WarriorPoet is working on his SBit's, and we have some Great Instructors in Training that are just about ready to go for that Red Hat!

I hope to have details on a Rifle IBC in either Indiana or Missouri. These are great and a ton of fun.
