Shooters, Circle up!

We had an awesome one day Appleseed at the Lincoln Izaak Walton League.

First of all this place is top notch. We had everything we needed. Good Backstop, great facilities, great shade for the classroom, and even two range cadre joined us! It's a great place just outside of Lincoln and you should definitely patron this range.

Secondly, the shooters, this was my first Appleseed in Nebraska and I've got to say the Cornhuskers get it done. We filled the shoot and had walk-ons. Opening Red Coat targets showed room for lots of improvement, but our instruction got groups down to size and we moved onto bigger and better things.

My favorite part of the day was when the shooters were asking to squeeze in just one more AQT on a 1 day event. We got in two legit AQT's.

Seriously, this was a great group of shooters and I feel very fortunate to have been able to Appleseed with them. Marksmanship was improved and appreciation for our heritage was shared by all! As the Shoot Boss, I couldn't ask for more!

Great job Nebraska!!  Looking forward to seeing more Americans share our mission in the Cornhusker state ❤️
