I'm soliciting feedback.

We can get an Appleseed-logo'd Case folding knife, 3 1/2" similar to the attached photo. Our logo would be where the Don't Tread on Me snake is on the knife in the photo.

The Store sales price would have to be near $50 in order not to lose money for Appleseed.

Question for the group - are you willing to pay that for a collectible or gift Appleseed item?

Thanks,
Thaddeus

I would pay that for a good quality knife.

I would not, but I would not buy a knife like that anyway

I would not buy a knife like this but just a thought as I know many would.

Any chance they could be an Order one, pay for it, and then we make them and ship? It would take a little longer, but you would be able to order only when you know they could were sold.  Maybe work on it now deliver by Christmas?

The price point is not problematic.

But I would not purchase a knife of that design.

But if a made in USA Kershaw Leek or Kershaw Scallion were offered that would be interesting. Reversible pocket clip (point up or point down) blade lock, one handed opening, thumb stud.

Kershaw is made in Oregon, and does offer engraving.

A Kershaw Leek is my every day carry.

I'm with eaglescouter, not a style I say I like much, so probably not.

Eaglescouter, Case is made in Bradford, PA.  They make a model like you describe but the price point would be much higher.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Sounds like back to the drawing board.

In going back to the drawing board, I am not sure what type of item you are looking for.  The knife actually is a good idea, BUT it doesn't look like any of us carry a knife like this.  Just from my own observations, the people associated with Appleseed events tend to carry some type of knife with a pocket clip.
I don't carry a true pocketknife.  I carry a knife clipped to my pocket.

What type of item are you looking to have in the store?
