What a fantastic event!

We had a great group of shooters. The weather was cloudy with a heavy shower around noon but it was clear the rest of the day. The range facility, as always, was first rate and a great place to work an event. The Instructors could not have been better. I'm so lucky to work with such excellent people.

Shooters ages ranged from 10 to 78, most were first timers at Appleseed. After shooting the Hits Count target, we started on the basics. The group worked hard and the shooters were very attentive. Everyone improved greatly throughout the day. Since this was a one-day event we only had time for one AQT.

Congratulations to everyone for working so hard. We did have one new rifleman in Donte with a score of 212 and two shooters re-qualify with scores of 212 for Katie and 225 for Vicenc.

The event went very well. All shooters should feel good about the improvements that they made. A big thank you to the best crew of instructors in Appleseed.  Everyone did a wonderful job and the teamwork was amazing.  Check out the requalified riflemen.

Thanks to all.

Another great event, Wendy.  Looking forward to next time!

Not Sure

I'll remember this event, not for it being my first as a red hat, but for the great group of shooters that made incredible progress in such a short time.  We threw a lot of history and a lot instruction at them, and they took it in and brought the results.  At the end of the day, the instructors felt very appreciated which is why we were there.

Congrats to our Riflemen and keep at it to those who didn't quite hit the 210 mark.  It's a process.
