Bone Creek Sport and Gun Club outside of Pittsburg KS witnessed a gathering of people joined together to celebrate the 250th (+ 1 week) anniversary of Patriot's Day by honing their marksmanship skills and learning about their heritage.

While the weather was less than ideal on Saturday afternoon with rain, the shooters pressed on and completed their mission. Several Rifleman scores were recorded during the weekend along with a couple scoring "Distinguished" Rifleman.

The absolute best part of the event was how well attended it was by young people interested in learning their history and improving their skills, with several of them achieving the Rifleman score and earning their patch.
